Quote: Are They Here Yet? Psychic Names Alabama in Prediction of Alien Contact
An Australian self-proclaimed psychic, Blossom Goodchild, named Alabama in a prediction of a huge alien ship to visit the earth on Oct. 14.
Goodchild says the spirit of a Native American named “White Cloud” told her several months ago that a 2,000 mile-long alien ship will arrive on Oct. 14, 2008, hovering over the earth for 72 hours.
According to Goodchild, the aliens from the “Federation of Light” are coming in peace with the intention of making their presence known. Part of the message states, “We give you the opportunity to capture on screen this particular ship. There shall be no contact in the form that those of your planet would like. For this initial presentation, we shall simply be presenting our ship to you.”
Goodchild says the extra-terrestrials will keep their craft visible for enough time to allow us to take pictures and video to eliminate questions about their existence. The huge spacecraft is supposed to be seen from a number of states.
Goodchild’s says she doesn’t know the meaning of the word “Alabama” which was given to her. She doesn’t know if it means the aliens will appear over the southern United States, because there was also a mention of the southern hemisphere.
This is unlike most other psychic predictions which aren’t generally narrowed down to a specific date. Goodchild says she was hesitant to reveal this prediction because of possible questions regarding her sanity.

But she is an actress, curious and an author.
For what it's worth, here's my take on this matter:
Blossom Goodchild mistakenly believed she was receiving messages from this so-called Federation of Light via a dead Native American. Fact is it could have been any psychic source, from anywhere, for any reason.
She then felt compelled to release this information (in good faith), probably fully expecting it not to go beyond the boundaries of Australia. She sadly underestimated the power of the internet and the misplaced faith of some people.
Now she had been on the receiving end of some vile abuse from these same crackpots demanding she should end her life.
What a mess and I'm not surprised she will think twice before issuing any public statements of this magnitude ever again.

I am surprised she felt the need to announce it. It would've been a little difficult to miss...
