Kecksburg UFO Festival To Host UFO Researchers

Join us at the annual Kecksburg Old Fashioned Days and UFO Festival, sponsored by the Kecksburg VFD on September 19th and 20th. The two day festival begins with a parade on Saturday at noon and includes other special events such as the “Burn Out” contest on Saturday at 7PM, a Classic Car Show at noon on Sunday, the Bed Race, the Water Bucket Brigade contest, UFO lectures both days, and much more. The UFO theme will expand this year to include several UFO groups and researchers of unusual phenomena in Pennsylvania who will be on hand with displays and to answer questions from the public. These displays will be located inside the banquet hall along with a variety of craft venders. I will also have a display of information concerning the 1965 Kecksburg UFO incident as well other UFO and Bigfoot cases from the state as well.
Those scheduled to attend include myself, Stan Gordon, John Ventre, MUFON PA State Director; Eric Altman, Director of the PA Bigfoot Society; Dan Hageman, Director of the Butler Organization for the Research of the Unexplained; and Terri and Brian Seech, of the Center for Unexplained Events.
I will also be presenting two free illustrated public lectures in the banquet hall. The first will be on Saturday at 5:00 pm, concerning the history of the Kecksburg UFO Incident. The second will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm, concerning UFO and Bigfoot encounters in the state. Following these presentations, the other organizations will present information on their activities and investigations.
The festival is located in Kecksburg, “Home of the UFO.” The location is RT 982, 4 miles north of RT 31.
